    sorry for the late reply.

    In order to make reservations..

    You can either call the owner Ana Rosa +57-314 584 7358 or +57-317 638 7922 for which you are likely to need fluent Spanish.

    You can write out an email to ecohotelaspalmeras@hotmail.com or ecohotellaspalmeras@gmail.com.

    Or you can communicate with Ana Rosa and request bookings via the Facebook site as well. http://es-es.facebook.com/pages/Las-Palmeras-Eco-Hotel-Islas-del-Rosario-Cartagena/144110298953708

    Regarding on how to get there last time I checked you have to ask for Yanet Blanquiset at the Touristic Harbour in Cartagena to drop you off at Isla Grande when traveling out to the Islas del Rosario.

    Is there any shade/shelter on the beaches near the hotel? Trees, palapas, umbrellas, etc.

    Hi Maria,

    on the beach next to the Ecohotel there were palm trees that gave some shadow.

    On other beaches on the island you might find umbrellas as well.

    Hola, es que no hago reservas, solo quería ayudar a encontrar esta perla de alojamiento que en su día por lo menos ya era una aventura.. tampoco sé como contactarse con Ana Rosa para reservar estancias que la última email se nos devolvío. Me acuerdo de esta página de Facebook, a lo mejor hacen reservas por allí o tienen un número de contacto :http://www.facebook.com/pages/Las-Palmeras-Eco-Hotel-Islas-del-Rosario-Cartagena/144110298953708 que nada más, espero que sigue siendo maravilloso el ecohotel y buscen la laguna encantada con la noche con un guia, que se llevan recuerdos bonitos de alli también a mi me fasciné muchissimo..
